Financial District, NYC, February - October 2008
To create different areas for working, studying, living and sleeping, a downtown loft was divided using frameless glass walls and doors. The glass offers acoustic privacy without loosing the openness of the space; Venetian blinds can be closed if visual separation is desired. Custom tailored bookshelves keep the library and archive "floating" above the ground.
